Can you tell I'm excited. Good to have you back. :) :)
I will try to post some pictures from the trip later today. It will take a while to upload and process them, etc.

Guess what I did today?

I ordered some birds.

Or should I say a lot of birds! I ordered 19 birds!

11 chicks and 8 keets.

Hoping the guineas won't be loud enough to bother us or our neighbors

Here's the Yellowstone pictures. (It was so annoying because my camera wasn't working right the whole time. I can't wait to get rid of my camera--it isn't even a good camera anyway.) For those of you that are not familiar with Yellowstone, it is a supervolcano that erupted several thousand years ago. The crater became one HUGE valley and unlike other volcanoes, it can't release magma like a typical tall volcanoes does. So, it releases the pressure through thermal ground, geysers, and other means, like in rivers.

Here's the legendary geysers called "Old Faithful"

Bison

Here's the thermal features. Most of them look like they are from a different planet!

^This picture was so hard to take. It was windy so the hot steam was spreading across the board walks. The temperature would go from 60 to 120 degrees with the steam.

Here are my favorite photos I took:

! where did you order your Keets from? Every place I look at has a minimum order of 20-30 keets.
Ideal-poultry. You can order any amount of keets as long as the order is over $25. So you could order 5 Buff Orps and 2 keets, for example. They seem to be very easy to work with. I'll let you know what I think of them once my chicks arrive. Some hatcheries seem good, but the chicks arrive all dead, etc. I wanted to order some ducks from Meyer Hatchery, but I looked at the shipping charges, and they were going to have me pay $47 to ship 6 ducks

Brent, those were great photos! Can you believe I've lived right close to it and have never seen it. Not sure I ever will now. Thanks for sharing!
