Whoot! It's Sept. Now, hoping our temps will finally go down. It's been one hot summer here. Way above normal summer temps. We've also been breathing smoke from a fire up the canyon near us for 2 weeks now. It rained a bit the last couple of days. Thought that would help, but the thunder! I've never heard thunder this loud..and we get it around here, but this was close. Wonder if it just started another fire up the canyon. :/ Anyway, I know my chickens will be happier for cooler weather, right along with me.
