Hubby and I got on Ancestry.com. He built his family tree back to the 1500-1600s. (He couldn't tell me how many generations when I asked just now.)

I've done this too. So interesting! Found out my Dad's people have been here since at least the 1750's and many still are. Small community has my maiden name!
