Hello, I purchased an R-com 20 and put 16 eggs in it and hatched our only 4. Now my question is during this incubation every other day the temperature would fluctuate. It's set at 37.5C and during the night would drop down to 36C. This happens often with this machine. Morning will come and its back to 37.5C. It is no where near a window. It will either be 37.5C or lower. It won"t go any higher. During lockdown it wouldn't go higher than 38C. The humidity was always correct though during development and lockdown. What am I doing wrong? I have re calibrated the temperature and it's still fluctuating.
But here is the stupid question. If I am to call the R-Com people for assistance, how do I dial their phone number? I have never called outside the US before.

I have never had temperature fluctuations with my R-Com 20...It has always amazed me how well it holds the temp and humidity!...Hope someone can help you with this...Maybe you can email the company rather than make a call?

I think they are the same as P&T Poultry. Here's a cheaper number to call: 01144 1597 827 900

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the Ph#'s. Okay maybe I should have mentioned this in the earliest post and I don't know if this makes a difference. The electrical cord it came with is european and I don't know where or how much to buy an outlet converter. I have been using a cord that has the same prongs and fit and it works. (It's from an X-box). Would this have anything to do with the temperature fluctuations?

Check the incubator manual/bo for the volt range it can work from. Some might say 110V-240V. If that is the case for yours, it's fine. If it says only 220-240V, it won't perform properly. You can find transformers pretty easily. Check ebay or camping stores.

Edit: Found this on the website: Power Supply - 100-120v AC 50/60Hz or 220-240v AC 50/60Hz as specified
Maybe give them a call and ask them. Perhaps the whole unit is different or maybe just the plug.
