Has anyone used the R-Com digital 3 egg incubator? What about the viewing thing that you can get for it? My daughter REALLY wants them both. If I hear good reviews they might just end up under the christmas tree.

I borrowed one and used it twice. Got 3 out of 3 and 2 out of 3. Didn't have the viewer thingie, though. Then I went out and bought an R-Çom 20. I like that, too, except that the humidity sponges don't last long, and they're very expensive to replace.

I hope one's under my tree too.

BUG126, I see you have a frizzle by your avatar. Do you have more colors?

I've read a little about the 3 egger here.

A few people said it feels like a toy. It actually is a Korean toy that
Brinsea marketed here.

The thing that concerns me is getting a 1 out of 3 hatch. A single chick
is a lonely chick.

Also, for what it costs you may find yourself wishing you bought a bigger one.

I'd do as Oblio did if I had the opportunity. I'd love to try one.

We have 2 white roos (one is the avatar) and a white frazzle hen. 1 red frazzle roo and a red frizzle hen. My daughter is hoping to hatch some eggs this spring.

ohhh....didnt think about that. I guess if we got it we could time it around the time the feed store has chicks, just in case.

I am using a friends rcom 20- and the temperature went out of whack.I would worry that a thermometer couldn't fit in a 3 egg model (the rcom 20 has a way to recalibrate the temp/humidity if it gets screwy- don't know about the 3 egg model)I wish I had known the temp/humidity could get out of whack before I lost eggs...twice.
