Has anyone had any issues with their R-COM 20 incubators? Our brand new R-COM Max 20 arrived yesterday so we set it up for a test run. After running overnight the incubator has the heating led light but has not heated past 85F. I have a GQF Genesis running in the same room right now (room temp 74F) and the Genesis is running at 99.5F without fluctuation.

In the paperwork that came with the R-COM is recommends the incubation room to be around 82F. I think that would be ridiculous that a $400+ incubator would have to have perfect room temp for it to function properly.

Has anyone had any experience with one of these?

I personally don't but if I were you I'd put it back in the box ship it back and get your money back. Then go buy a brinsea and actually get your money out of a great incubator. Good luck

I have one and it has no problem heating to 99.5 in our house. We're in CA, so the coolest it gets indoors is about 60. Sounds like yours is broken. Is there any troubleshooting info in the manual?
