I had gone to check on the chickens this morning and feed and water them, and Felix my little cross beak hen she hasn't been eating well lately I think she had just given up it was so difficult for her to eat even with a very deep dish, well the other chickens had forced her into hidding it looked like or something tried to pull her under the door and she was stuck under the door. So I got her out brought her in and gave her some sugar water and some scrambled eggs and a little grain and I came and checked on her a few hours later and she was on her side and couldn't get back up and had thrown up alot of the water and food. I felt bad and wanted to end her suffering so I got a old cooler and put a wire floor in it and filled it up with baking soda and peroxide and put a nice fuzzy towl on top and placed Felix inside and shut the lid she just fell asleep.
