Thanks you guys. Ive lost a lot of pets/ family members. Im just glad that it seems alot of the time I find them in their last moments so that they are not alone. I have only ever had rabbits and hamsters die without my knowing. Everyone else - ducks, rats, dogs - Ive been with them in their last few hours till their last minutes. Its really hard... but at least I know they went in the comfort of my arms.
