We used rabbit fence for our run. We also attached the wire to the bottom of our coop and run then used quickcrete and cemented the wire in the ground. We refuse to lose our chickens to predators. To us thats like letting your children play in the street. Protect your flock or lose them . I feel so sad for those chickens that were not provided with a good home. Im not trying to be mean, I just dont understand why people allow their chickens to be killed.
