Rabbit Hobbies!!

I currently have a New Zealand mix female that will be bred with my Californian Male
I also have 2 male and 4 female Dutch rabbits

the first 2 are bred for meat, the dutch, well, some will be bred for meat while some of the kits will be sold as pets

This coming friday, I have to go pick up 2 Holland Lops for my wife. She found them and fell in love. I raise food, aka rabbits, she wants to raise pets, aka bunnies
but the HL are pedigreed and so I figure if I am feeding and caring for a minimum of 8 everyday anyway, what is 2 more

growing rabbitry here.

We just started out this spring with 7 and now we are past 30 in numbers! (really easy to do when 2 litters were 7 and 9!) AND we have already sold some of the fryers!

We are raising White NZ and have a few mixed colors that we picked up cheap at the beginning. Our biggest working doe is part flemish giant and she threw 2 greyish/brown colored kits with her 7 other pure white kits.

They are adorable!
cute and cuddly...

Do you have pics of any your chocolate Lionhead rabbits? We have purebread Lionheads too (they were given to us by someone who couldn't take care of them anymore). I'm just wondering what color is considered chocolate. I really don't know much about the Lionhead breed except the history of the breed that I read online:D. I'm just wondering, Thanks!

We are looking into getting some bunnies, probably two of them. Netherland Dwarfs are our favorites as far as looks go and we were wondering if they make good pets. our next two favorites are mini rex and lionheads, we would also like to know about them. thanks!
