I used a rabbit hutch as a brooder, and then as a tractor, but it wasn't the same model you are considering. I think that one at petsmart looks like it would be perfect and not too much trouble to convert. I think I have seen others of that model converted with small runs added to the front.
I am sure my hutch could have worked fine for a broody mama hen. I would not recommend keeping more than two full sized chickens in it, however. I added wire framed panels around the base and put hinges on them so no matter where the pullets were, I could still reach them. Initially I only had one opening in the bottom, and I found I had to crawl in a few times. I also added a roost that could be lifted out easily to clean or change the hutch around for another purpose. I had planned on keeping it and converting it later for a broody hen, but someone offered me $150 for it for their two chicks, so I sold it.
Here is picture of it.
It is also in the coop pages under tractors if you want to see more pictures or details.
