Rabbit nesting box - what size?

I was wondering how big a nesting box for a rabbit had to be?

she is a medium mixed breed (6lbs)

I currently have a pattern drawn out that is
10" wide
10" high in the back
2" high in the front
18" long
5" long (roof)


is it too big or would it work fine?

it's made of Pine(raw), some extra shelf boards i had laying around.

A standard size nest box for medium-sized rabbits is 16 L × 10 1/2 H × 10 W
Yours should work fine

I would make it more than 2" high in the front though...maybe 6" Those babies can really jump around, right from birth
