rabbit not eating

My doe rabbit is due the 5th of april but her first litter was a week early and she didnt have them in the box. im worried that she will have them in the box but not pull any hair resulting in the babies dieing again. what should i do.

I don't know that there is much you can do. I have lined the entire cage with hay to try to make sure there is some insulation wherever the doe has them, but I'm not sure that would help much in this case. If the doe's due date is April 5, she'd be only at about 25 days' gestation at this point. That's only about 80% of the 31 day gestation period. While 28 days' gestation is still considered normal, 25 days is significantly premature, and I have my doubts about whether the kits could survive being born so early.

Ive put hay in the whole cage. thanks for the idea hope it helps. she ate a little this morning.
