This is an excerpt from an article posted by Dr. Joe Mercola - one of the most highly regarded physicians & most popular health web sites on the internet. The article was written by "A Midwestern Doctor explaining how highly effective natural (zero profit) remedies are subjected to smear campaigns to protect profit-driven maintenance RX's. (Just remember: The opposition goes after those it fears - the COMPETITION.) I use DMSO for ALL my barn cats for one of the most contagious respiratory conditions that CAUSE BLINDNESS. Using an eye dropper & applying ONE drop of DMSO to the back of the neck of each cat saves the cat's eyesight AND its life & eliminates the sneezing, sniffles & congestion saving me a $57 vet visit.
Midwestern Doctor excerpt defending DMSO against erroneous smear: ". . . In reality, it is purely politics, and to support that, I compiled a detailed article summarizing everything that is known about the safety and toxicity of DMSO, which in my eyes, made the case that DMSO is one of the safest pharmaceutical products in existence and that the widely used alternatives to it (e.g., NSAIDs) are incredibly dangerous and orders of magnitude more harmful than DMSO. . . ."
