Pondering a rabbit exercise area so when we have meat rabbits eventually I'll have an area they can get out and stretch. The area I'm currently considering has two rose bushes and a baby nectarine tree. I'm planning to put down chicken wire so they can't dig holes. Would I need to put a cage around the roses or would the rabbits leave them alone? Or is it a bad thing for them to be able to get to them anyway because of the thorns? The area is going to be between the chicken coop and rabbit shed so would be perfect for a run so it's not wasted space. Thanks for your thoughts!
