rabbits in coop?

My dd wants me to put an access thru the wall of the coop we are building to a nesting box for her bunnies is it a good idea or a bad one she want it like that so they will stay warm inside Thanks:/

Is the access going to be from outside of the coop into a nest box that is completely walled off from the coop? Or will it be open to the coop?

I dont see a problem as long as there is no way for the hens to get at any newborn rabbits in the nest box (they might kill and eat them), and also as long as it doesnt provide an entrance into the coop for predators.
