rabbits lion head?

At first the guy said there lion heads but then the more I talked to him the more he was saying mini rex was mixed in and something else that has long hair. I really felt bad for all of his rabbits. He kept acting like he was going to give one to the dogs "wanna rat" "wanna rabbit" no joke there was fur and bones on the way back to the car. I wanted to buy them all

He said they are about 5 weeks

The females are sisters but the male is from different parents.

I would say mini lop/ lion head mix I had one that looked just like the black and white one. They are some cute rabbits sorry that the person you got them from was so bad.

Buck looks to be a poor Lionhead. Tan one looks to have had Lionhead in it at one point. The broken doe, doesn't seem to have any mane.
But still freaky adorable!

Broken doe refers to her color pattern. Super cute, I don't see much that makes me think mini rex, but not total lionhead either. On a side note, I would separate the male soon as rabbits can breed very young. Congrats on your cute buns!

They breed at 6 months right? He said to let them breed at 6 months because if you don't, they wont take if you wait to long. Is that right?

Males can breed much younger than that. Females can get pregnant before that but it's not as good for them as waiting till 6 months. At 6 mos they are developed enough that they are not still growing but young enough that their pelvic bones have not fused together which can happen when they get older. Even if you don't want to start breeding for a while, if you know you want to eventually with that doe, breeding her once at a young age prevents the bone from fusing.
