Oh I've considered that show but decided not to since I'll be going to the NCRBA (North Carolina Rabbit Breeders Association) show in March also which is in Greensboro, NC. No that will be a good show for you to start at, not to big. My first show was a double youth in Greensboro last march. Lots of youth, lots of adults, and two different national shows (Silver Fox and Thrianta). It was a large show and was very overwhelming
This is a double open.

Can rabbits be house trained?
Do girls or boys make better pets?
Also will I need to take them inside during winter?
I'm thinking about just getting one to start with and seeing how it goes. At the moment I'm in love with a male dwarf at the pet store; he's cream with multi colored brown spots on his face and rump. :]

yes they can be house trained. All three of mine are in the house. And they all use litter boxes just like my cat. And really it doesn't matter about what gender you get. They are all good as long as you give them attrition. I have two adult females and a baby male. They make great pets. And as long as you have a nice weatherised hutch you can keep them outside all year. In colder weather you need to make sure the have enough bedding and fresh water and food every day.
