Rabies concern from attack

It's the critter who comes in and bites, and goes home, so you don't even know it was contagious for rabies, that I fear most. So I keep my titer up...
Long ago we had an illegally kept raccoon kit come in, with a 'head injury'. Sent it in for testing, and rabid. Over thirty people got vaccinated over that one, and some pets were euthanized. This critter had visited schools, kid's ball games, people's houses, you name it. We got our boosters ASAP!
Glad you were able to get those poor cats tested!
