Raccoon? Graphic Pics!!!

Hi! We had a raccoon come in and eat two young birds in our grow out pen. Trapped one coon, revised electric fence and turned it on only to find fencer wasn't working. Used a smaller one running about 4000. No raccoon for well over a month. Came out today to this... Is this a coon or someone else? Inside a small coop, inside a chain link dog kennel covered with a net, inside a chain link fence covered with a net, inside an electric fence...

I'm sorry to hear that.

I would guess coon. Foxes and cats tend to carry their prey away, weasels kill a lot but don't eat that much (mink are probably the same). Coons tend to eat the head and crop, but will eat other parts of the body if hungry, perhaps with babies.

Thanks, that is what I thought, but don't have much experience in judging "who was here" by a carcass or three. I appreciate your input and am setting 2 traps tonight...we'll see!
