Raccoon killed (and ate) my peahen last night

sorry for your loss. Very sorry,

When my parents kept cat food in the shed, I watched a racoon shinney 12 ft hanging on by his fingernails to the top edge between sheets of siding (t-1-11) to get to a spot the size of a softball (that was 10 ft off the ground) to climb in to eat cat food. I was amazed and appalled at the same time.

We have not had trouble YET

at our place with the masked bandits maybe the skunk smell is keeping them at bay.

i lost 9 goslings to a racoon, they love to prey on young chicks and can hear them i think. they didnt last 1 night. sucks. SHOOT THAT MOTHER!!!!!!!!!

So far nothing in the trap since the attack Tuesday night. The raccoons must still be full.

I have been battleing a mink It 1 of my chickens so It was my white baby Silkie it was pulled threw a 2 layer fence 1st layer chicken wire 2nd layer chick wire I am very sorry for your loss .
