Tonight when I was locking everyone up I realized Helen our Bourbon Red was missing. There were feathers everywhere in the woods and we found her dragged up against the fence that borders the property - about twenty feet from the main piles of feathers. Head was missing and insides exposed. I'm assuming this was a raccoon? Rest in Peace, Helen.

That looks like what they do to our chickens, but I'm not sure that a raccoon can take down a turkey honestly.

Do you have coyotes?
