Raccoon Skunk or Possum?

Can you tell by the way a chicken was killed what did the deed? We have lost 5 meaties in the last two nights. Their heads were gone and part of the breast was eaten. Last year when we had a possum get in and kill a Silkie it skinned it and ate the heart. We have electric fence around the meat birds and after the first attack we realized the line was not connected to the transformer. So we fixed that and thought we had the problem solved but this morning I found another dead one.

We are going to set a live trap tonight and also lie in wait and see if we can catch whatever it is.

No, I think it is a ground predator it has happened both times in the middle of the night. and one was eaten through the fence. And one was found on the end of the woods.
