Raccoon Tip: Unbaited live animal trap

Raccoons are pretty intelligent, they will examine fences, determine weak points to either pull things down or dig under or the best spot to climb up. I found that in placing an unbaited medium live animal trap on the outside, parallel to the fence as close to the fence as I could, curious predators will just walk into it. In the past year I've gotten at least 8 raccoons and 1 possum. One time two raccoons managed to walk in at the same time.

That is pretty clever! Might try that out myself, I have not encountered a Raccoon in a while but these Possums always trying to stick their noses where they shouldn't..

My biggest headache are coyotes. I have to put my dogs out with the chickens to free range them or I wouldn't have a chicken left
