I have inspected ever inch of my chicken kennel and house and , I don't see anyway possible for a coon to get in. Yes, my dog has woke me up the last two nights and there is a coon in the roost. HELP

We always had problems with predators getting our chickens, so when we recently decided to get back into raising poultry we decided to focus alot of attention on protecting our flock. Our first and best line of defense is a 10 wire electric fence around the perimeter. We also have traps set up, and game cameras out. We are planning on rebuilding our coop, and another addition will be an automatic door. I feel pretty confident my flock is safe.

I have traps set and have been catching the coons. I also put a radio in the coop. Seems to help
