Jackie paid the owner in cash then got in the truck

Honey looked at the other horses in the trailer, studying their faces, their scents, everything about them. Many thought that the reason she was quiet was because she was stupid or had nothing to say... that was not the case at all. She was just afraid that if she opened her mouth, she'd scare everyone off. She remembered almost everything she ever heard, it would freak the others out if they knew her secrets.
