Lexi wondered what to do. Lacy hadmade her sware she would stay away from Erik because she thought he was cute.

"So Lexi, you want to go ahead and look at the rest ofthe horses?" Erik asked.

She seemed to brighten at his words but then glanced at Lacy threw the screen door she shook her head and looked down

"If your worried about Lacy, she don't seem reall interested in the horses," Erik said

"She thinks they stink..." Lexi sighed

"Well then she shouldn't be bothered if we go look at them it'll only be a couple minutes, " Erik said.
