History: Born in Bayda, Libya and raised not too far from it on a stud farm specializing in breeding/importing Arabians and Thoroughbreds for racing. He grew up with horses his whole life, and is expected to come back someday with the responsibility in owning his family's farm. Unfortunately, as strife broke out in his home country, Waleed's family was losing money and was forced to sell horses, cut down on certain, items, prepare themselves for possible emergencies, etc. He and his family decided it would be best for him to go abroad with a few of their best horses while they dealt with business at home.
