Roo spotted him from his stretch of paddock, galloping up to him with his neck straight out and ears flattened to his head.

Almost immediately, the mare took off at a shockingly fast gallop, her legs extending so far it seemed as if she were flying down the track. She narrowed her eyes, imagining she was at a real competition and passing some of the finest horses the racing business had to offer, taking in the sights and smells and cheers of the imaginary audience.

Jackie sighed softly "Okay let me put it this way. The farm is broke and we need yearlings so we are going to have to sell horses that arent ready to race now. Or let some Jockies and Hands go."
