Radio to keep away coyotes?

So I am still on the hunt for a way to keep away the coyotes. I havnt heard them since the first night i got my hens, but that doesnt mean they are not there. I also put loose dirt all the way around my coop and run so i could see prints. thay havnt come that close yet. I heard to put a small radio next to the coop set to a talk radio station. that since they will hear people they wont come as close. Will this bother the chickens? and keep them up?

Mine have been listening to Jimmy Swaggert since they hatched! Music, preaching, and talk. 24/7 They seem fine. I left the radio on so they would get used to the sounds of people and music. I figured this was the next best thing. they get a lil of everything. But I would never let them listen to rap! LOL
as for keeping the coyotes or animals away....I dunno. I was thinking about this myself.
