I have 9 chickens. It's been raining all day and now the forecast is calling for dropping temperatures to below freezing. When I did my daily feed and egg collect I noticed all the chickens were soak and wet. I'm afraid they might freeze tonight. What should I do?

Do you have a brooder light that you could hang up in the coop. Keep it up high enough not to start a fire but low enough that they can get under to dry? Then tomorrow you could raise the light some and then remove. Or could take a hair dryer out there and dry them one at a time.

I do dry my little bantams off with a hairdryer on a low setting if its going to be exceptionally cold. If they are LF they should be OK

I blow mine dry too. Make sure they have dry bedding too... Definitely try to get a heat lamp in there... dont want any frostbite!
