Rain barrel/water bar circulation pump options

Hi everyone. We have a rain barrel watering system for our girls with a water heater and a circulating pump (we live in MA). We've been using the bayite pump and it has failed (frozen on us) twice on us. Can anyone recommend a water bar circulating pump that they are happy with?

I have no idea, except to ask if your pump is actually freezing in the cold, or just failing because it wants to quit?

@terris444 Maybe your heater quit then the water and pump froze?

We are in Michigan and have the same problem! I haven't found a better option yet. Good luck. This year our power went out to the coop and while the barrel didn't come anywhere near freezing, the pump needed no encouragement to freeze.
