So, I have my 7 youngest chicks together in a coop, they are all a little over 2mos old, 5 are Dixie rainbow broilers & 2 unknown. My 5 dixies as you can see on my pic, have very enlarged crops & are losing feathers on their neck & crop. Therefore, the crops always look pretty swollen to me, although slightly smaller looking in the AM compared to the HUGENESS I see when they eat. This has been going on for a while, even when they were inside. We have tried apple cider vinegar in with their water, and massaging their crops upside down, and nothing. I'm not sure if it's so much the crop as it is the feather loss? Either way it is ONLY the 5 dixies, the other 2 are fine, crops and feathers. I spoke with the woman I got them from and she said she's never had this issue with any of hers? So I'm looking for any suggestions / advice!! Thanks all in advance
