So I think there are four different kinds of black chicks. Some have single combs, some have rose? combs (flat). There is one I don't have a clue on. I'm just going to post all the pics I have and let you guys take a crack at the ones that look very similar.

2 days old ~ almost all of them looked like this

they now look like this ~ all of them have some sort of striping showing up, some more distinct than others.
1st example

2nd example single comb

then there's a chick that doesn't look like my australorps did as day olds.

and what she looks like now

The first few pics are Barred Rocks or Dominiques( depending on the comb) and the others look like Lorps to me, they should be solid black.

Barred Rocks.

SLW. or Australorp

And I thought that they guaranteed at least 5 breeds.

My Rainbow group was mostly Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Reds. Its what they have most of.

The chick in pic. 1st example has a rosecomb so it would be a Dominiques. Your 2nd and 3rd example could be Barred Rocks or Black Sex-Linked cockerels.
The Black and white chicks might be Silver Laced Wyandottes I dont think that they are Australorp because when I look at the wing I see white feathers coming in..

These are only some of the black ones that came with my order, there's a part one with the ones that were non black but since i ended up with 15 black chicks i put them together in one post for better comparison.

That's what I was thinking too because I have 4 older aussies and it doesn't look anything like they did. I also ended up with one new aussie in the mix and she doesn't look the same as that one.

She doesn't have the chipmunk striping I saw in pictures for a SLW but i ended up with a GLW so maybe I have a silver too. That would be nice!

Since there are multiple black chicks with subtle differences I'm count them as different breeds and with the non-black chicks I ended up with 8 different breeds I think! They are all pullets so no sex link cockerels.
