Rainy days ahead....straw run flooring getting wet!

The floor of the chickens' run is straw and its been getting wet lately with one rainy day after another. Any special precautions I should take? Do I need to constantly change it when it gets wet or just let it dry naturally? The inside of their coop is dry but I'm worried they'll track the wet inside onto the pine shavings.

Haveing a run full of straw will just be a huge mess to clean when it pours. Sand runs are much better, and they dry out after it rains. The straw can go moldy.
