Rainy yucko weather causing chickens to not lay?

My 2 oldest hens have totally stopped laying eggs and im wondering if it could possibly be because it has been pouring down rain for a couple weeks? Or my second question is how often do chickens molt? (They both did a full molt about mid fall last year)

One of the girls was broody for a couple/few weeks and went into a molt almost immediately after that and hasn't seemed to stop yet and the other girls feathers dont look great but i thought its because the silly biddy wont stay in the dry area of the coop/run.

They layed all through the super cold winter and now the spring is whats throwing me for a loop?! I dont understand chickens LOL

It's possible it's a very late molt, I guess? Rain alone shouldn't make them stop laying, or else no one in my neck of the woods would ever get eggs.
