If they are meat birds, about 8-10 weeks, if they are dual purpose birds about 16-18 weeks.

If they are kept in an all rooster pen, they should get a long.

If they are kept with pullets, at about 12-16 weeks they will harass the pullets pretty badly. They may also fight amongst themselves, sometimes viciously. Sometimes they will become very violent to people, attacking children, then smaller adults, and finally anybody who comes too close.

If they are kept in a multi-generational flock, they tend to do better, if there is an older rooster to keep them knocked down a peg.
