Raising a single Egyptian Gosling

Hello,
I know they're not technically geese, but they're large enough. We recently took in a rescued imprinted Egyptian Gosling. I live in east London and we have 3 dogs. We built him a very secure pen in our back garden and he has a pond. He is somewhere between 4-5 weeks old. At night he sleeps in a pet carrier from pets at home downstairs by himself. We don't have a brooder/lamp for him. Can he be left outside by himself? And if so for how long at a time and in what weather?

I just want to know what I am doing wrong/doing right.

Thanks! we've been thinking of this since we got him. We want chickens and do you know if they would get along with him or should we wait until he is older?
