Hey there,

I've been thinking a lot lately of trying to hatch eggs from my pigeons in my incubator, then raise and hand feed them. I was wondering if anyone has experience on this and how hard it would be?

What would be the baby bird formula to use?
How often do you feed baby pigeons throughout the day?

Thanks for your help and input!

Bill.

1st thing I say is DONT. In case I had to you can but the first 7 days they need crop milk, and fed every 2 hours.

No reason to hatch squeaker into the world to in most cases they will die. Get a cheap pr. or even common pigeon, and let them hatch eggs.

Thanks, I've been thinking the same thing... find a pair to use as fosters and see if that does the trick.

Take Care,
Bill.

Hey there,

I will look into trying this for the first time this fall I think when I can find a good pair to use as fosters. So I will definitely keep your advice in mind.
I will just have to keep my fingers crossed that it works.

Thanks and Take Care,
Bill.
