Hi all,
I'm not new to chickens but I am new to the chicken business. I use to take care of some chickens when I was a kid in the Philippines. Now here in the United States there are more option for taking care of chickens and more accessible. One thing I learned about chickens are different breeds and 2 types of chickens (meat or laying) back in the Philippines we only raise chickens we get from the neighbour, I remember it being a bantam size reddish orange.
I have 75ish laying chickens as of right now and 100 meat chickens on pasture. My laying Breeds are 24 Black Australorps, 5 White Leghorns, 4 Rhode Island Reds, 15 Golden Laced Wyandotte, 15 polish chickens assorted, 10 black sex links, 2 Sussex.
