We tried our hand at hatching in a Little Giant still air incubator. Didn't have great luck but we're still learning. We did have one hatch out and on day 4 ran out to purchase other baby chicks to keep it company. By the time we can home it was dying and did so within hours.
So we have 8 random chicks that we are or acting with while our second attempt of hatching is in progress.
So I THINK I have a RIR, a bantam, an Egyptian something, and 4 mixed black/blue copper marans. Mind you, I'm not really sure. lol. They range in age from a week to a day old. (I think).

Our chicks are doing good. One of them fell over and died the other day but the rest look great. I did change to medicated chick feed so hope that makes a difference.
