Raising Coturnix Quail and got a white egg?

im in the UK what does the white egg mutation mean for me? any benefit of hatching it? regards

It doesn't necessarily mean anything. Does the bird that lays that white egg you show always without fail lay a white egg completely clear of spots?

No Unfortunetly not, ive had two this month, possibly from the same bird.

Those are just unpainted eggs that get pushed out too soon due to stress.

Ahh well its gone off to market now! Nice to get a change. Has anyone bred quail for egg colour? id love blue eggs.... closest ive gotten is pale purple speckled eggs
