Hello Everyone,
I am a Dorking enthusiast from PA and am enjoying the articles, photos and threads on this site. I got my start when I joined the SPPA (Society for the Preservation of Poultry Antiquities) and had the opportunity to meet Craig Russell. I was looking for 'period' chickens that would have been common on my newly restored 18th century farm.
Craig steered me in the direction of Dorkings and I was able to obtain Red and Silver Gray trio's from Leonard Offet. Leonard had great birds so I had a wonderful start. I have been raising them for about 10 year's now and with Craig's help have mixed in Colored, Goldens, Dark Reds and Slate Dorkings.
It is a pleasure joining this site and hope to meet other enthusiast's like myself!
Frank
