Raising Dove For Meat - How Often Do They Lay?

I am thinking about getting into raising dove for meat. I love dove, but am not a great shot. Can someone tell me how many eggs they lay during a given time period? If I raised them how many birds could I expect to harvest during a given period of time? Thanks for your time!
