Hi! Right now I am raising 6 baby chicks to later introduce to my other hens. The ones I am raising now are a Golden Laced Wyandotte, 2 Easter Eggers, 2 Black Australorps, and an unknown breed. I currently have 6 adult members in my flock. I was wondering if it would be ok to raise ducklings in with my chicks. I've heard that chickens could get diseases from ducks and I want my chickens to be healthy. If they do give chickens diseases then I won't risk it and just stick with chickens. If I decide to get a duckling or two (I would probably get pekins) I would like to do it before the my chicks get to much older. Thanks!

Search this forum for past threads on raising them together there's a few. My concern would be how quickly esp Pekins grow compared to young chickens, esp if they are in a brooder (im assuming)?
