Newish to ducks. Got our first ducks last spring. 5 female/1 male
(2) How many ducks do you have right now?
We have 12 new ducklings! All about 5-6 weeks old now. Added to the 6 we already had, we now have 18 ducks.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard ducks?
The continuous supply of eggs. My husband likes that they keep the weeds/algae down in our pond.

My husband and I have been married for 15 years. We live in Indiana. I'm a Community Outreach RN and my husband is a Biochemistry/Gen. Chemistry professor. We have 2 children, a 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter. We also have 2 dogs. Jax is a lab/terrier mix who is about 6 years old. Zoey is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees/German Shephard mix.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC while I was looking up info about some questions we had about our ducks. I've not know about it for long. Joined because there is a lot of good information here. Seems I can find answers/suggestions to about anything.
