Whats good my fellow bird lovers
i just one day decided to raise chicks to become hens and lay me some protein .
i picked up
2 REDS
2 California whites
The two black ones in the picture are obviously two different breeds i just don't know the names .
can any one name the breed?

I think the one in the back may be a Black Australorp, the front one, I don't know - it looks a little blueish around the edges, so maybe the color will change. You can get more opinions if you post photos at "what breed or gender is this." It definitely helps if you mention their age.

I agree with drumstick diva...you could have Black Australorp but to be sure, check in with the experts over on the "what breed is this" forum:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

It would help to have full body shots of them for best chances of identification.

Hope you are enjoying the chicks!
