Less than a week I'll have 50 more arriving...heh heh heh

Shrink bags arrived today. We ordered 250 for now from the poultry bags site. Not the cheapest but great thickness over others so were gonna try them.

Did you order them out of a place in NY? I found a place there the cheapest, than I found I could buy expandable vacuum seal bags so I never used the shrink bags. My big problem was I did not have a pot deep enough to stick turkeys down inside. Let me know how the process goes on the shrink wrap project.

I am very interested to hear how the processing and storage goes. I have really been interested in going a round with the meaties. Just wanting to learn as much as possible first.

Down here with crawfish boils the pots are a dime a dozen. Up where you are you might want to look into restaurant supply stores. Many serve the public as well.

I have a splash Marans I got my first egg from yesterday. The lady I bought her from about 2 weeks ago wasn't sure if she was laying or not. So between the stress of the move, the shorter days up until a week ago may have stopped her, but as far as I am concerned, this was her first egg.
