Hi,
I'm a new baby momma to 2 adorable Serama 5 week old, looking for advice on keeping them outside in a coop and run during winter? I have a 15 x 8 run now with my hens in now & their coop is inside the run...we wrap the run during winter. My girls are fine all winter, I'm just worried about the Seraman pair..they will have their own insulated coop

Do you mean Serama? My little Seramas have some cold hardiness but not enough for a Connecticut winter. They can't really handle temps below 40 F consistently. If you keep them outside, you'll need to provide an inside-level environment to be safe. Some people have tried keeping Seramas outside like normal during the winter, but you do run the risk that they will succumb to the cold depending on the temps that you have there.

Thank you, yes I did Serama lol...I plan to have a insulated coop for them, we live in Canada and our winters can reach very low temperature, we will place their coop inside the large run which will be wrapped all winter. I just want to make sure they are ok during winter
