Ciao all,
I have raised Full sized pure breads and Hybrids in the uk fr many years, but i moved to Sardegna, Italy 5 years ago and missed my hens so much that I now have the start of a new family. 1 cockrel, 3 hens and a 4 month chick ( the crows took het siblings) All Silkies. They are super friendly and after a few months my Yorkshire terriers and Chickens are happy to live side by side.
It's quite a challenge in our hot summers to make sure they stay healthy. Any advice us really welcome.
I have found they have a love of watermelon.

Hello and welcome to BYC, You found an Amazing Poultry Community to be a part of with many great knowledgeable members, who are more then willing to jump in and help you along your journey with any questions you may have.
We are happy you have joined our community. Frozen bottles of water are great for helping them stay cool, we use them often in Tennessee. You can place around their Cooper in or in their water reservoir.
